"Flies"

I was taking a photography class last fall and was taking photos in the KSU Library, somewhere around the 9th floor. Crawling around looking for a shot, I noticed dozens of flies laying on the ground... not dead, just laying there. It was one of the strangest things I've seen. See a larger version here.
